How the drug works

The international name of this drug is Bereta. This drug is produced at the enterprises of the company "Veropharm".Beret refers to inhibitors of the proton pump.

This means that getting into the body, the active substance of this drug( rabeprazole) blocks the synthesis of hydrochloric acid. This acid is needed by the stomach in order to divide the food into fragments that are easier to process. The smaller the amount of acid in the stomach and rectum, the easier it is for these organs to regenerate tissues in the lesions.

Form release

"Beretta" is available in the form of tablets coated with a top shell allowing dissolve the tablet exactly where it will have more effect. In one package there can be 14 or 20 tablets. They are painted in a dark pink color.

Indications for use

This drug is prescribed for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer. The reception of this drug during the period of exacerbation of the disease is indicated. Often this drug is administered in combination with antibiotics.

Beret Contraindications

  • This medication is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age. Do not take "Beret" pregnant women and breastfeeding. Experiments on animals showed a negative effect of the active substance( rabeprazole) on the fetus
