Grapefruit Diet

The grapefruit diet allows you to lose 3-4 kg per week. The diet is saturated with vitamins, includes a sufficient amount of protein( every day in the diet meat or fish) and a minimum of fats and carbohydrates.

An important rule of the diet - do not eat after seven in the evening.

1 day.
Breakfast: grapefruit or juice made from it without sugar, 2 slices of ham weighing 25 grams( without white fat fringing), coffee or tea without sugar.
Lunch: grapefruit and vegetable salad, seasoned with lemon juice( any non-starchy vegetables + greens).Portion 250 g. Coffee or tea.
Dinner: boiled or grilled meat( 150 g wet weight), green salad with lemon juice( 200 g), tea with a spoon of honey.

2 day.
Breakfast: grapefruit or juice from it, 2 eggs( not fried), tea, coffee without sugar.
Lunch: grapefruit, 50 grams of cheese( preferably 20-30% fat content), can be replaced with 150 grams of homemade cheese( cottage) or low-fat cottage cheese.
Dinner: fish fried or grilled 200 g, a large salad of green vegetables, dressed with lemon-olive dressing( ie a teaspoon of lemon juice and as much olive oil), a piece of black bread or a crisp bread( 20 g).

3 day.
Breakfast: grapefruit or juice from it. Two tablespoons of oatmeal or muesli with a tablespoon of raisins, a couple of three-milled nuts( except peanuts) with the addition of low-fat yogurt or milk( 4 tablespoons).
Lunch: grapefruit, a cup of vegetable soup or a clear broth with two rusks.
Dinner: half a grapefruit( eat before going to bed), 200 grams of chicken( grilled or boiled), 2 baked tomatoes. Tea.

4 day.
Breakfast: a glass of tomato juice, boiled egg, tea with lemon.
Lunch: grapefruit + large salad of carrots or green vegetables( cucumber, pepper, celery, lettuce leaves, broccoli, etc.) with lemon-olive dressing, a slice of bread or toast.
Dinner: boiled or stewed vegetables - cabbage, beets, carrots, celery, zucchini, except potatoes and corn( no more than 400 g).Tea. At night, a glass of grapefruit juice or fresh grapefruit.

5 day.
Breakfast: fruit salad( grapefruit, orange, apple).Coffee or tea with lemon.
Lunch: baked large potato with cabbage salad or any green vegetables( 200 g).
Dinner: beef steak( 200 g) or chicken( 250 g) or fish( 250 g).Baked tomato or tomato juice. At night grapefruit or juice.

6 and 7 day you can choose any of the above if desired.

If the hunger is greatly aggravated, you can add a glass of kefir, apple or orange between the main meals. It is also allowed once a day to sweeten tea with one teaspoon of honey. Tea is preferable green and with lemon, only freshly brewed coffee or espresso, no soluble!

At night only grapefruit or juice from it is allowed. No yogurt! The optimal interval between meals is 5 hours. Salt products only in the most extreme case, if without it, a piece in your throat does not climb, and in a moderate amount. Remember, salt is the worst enemy of almost any diet! Try replacing it with dried herbs. Prohibited sauces and spices, except red pepper. It is better to cook fish fresh, canned food is allowed, but only in its own juice( best of all - tuna).For fatty fish, such as herring or mackerel, forget it. Meat is also only low-fat.

With strict adherence to the grapefruit diet, weight decreases quite quickly and without severe torment.

Sitting on this diet, we must remember that grapefruit is not so harmless. Therefore, it can be applied no more than once every 3 months.
