Each product is known to have its own season, and for some it is all year round. We all know that watermelons ripen to July-August, and oranges with tangerines are poured with juice for winter. But not everyone knows what seasonal food is. And not everyone knows about its benefits to the body, as today there are many technologies for growing vegetables and fruits. We can easily buy "summer" tomatoes in January-December, and the same tangerines in May, and that is why seasonal food is not very popular among the population.

But in fact grown in greenhouses tomatoes are much less useful substances and vitamins than in naturally ripened, in the sun. Yes, and the flavor of them, you see, is much more saturated, like taste.

What are the particularly useful vegetables and fruits that mature in the fall?

Pumpkin

Pumpkin ripen exclusively in the fall and contains a large number of vitamins. In addition, it is the most popular autumn product. But not everyone knows how to prepare it. Well, there is absolutely nothing complicated here.

You can make a stewed pumpkin. To do this, peel it from the peel, cut the flesh into small cubes and simmer until ready in a deep frying pan.

There is another way of making pumpkin: baking. To do this, slice the vegetable slices, place the flesh on the baking sheet and bake in the oven until the crust is soft.

Cauliflower

Another popular autumn vegetable. Prepare cauliflower as easily as a pumpkin: just slice it in small pieces and braise in a frying pan for about five minutes. Serve with melted butter.

Celery

This is a universal product that can be eaten both raw and cooked. You can also add finely chopped celery to a salad or soup - this will make it taste much more saturated.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms are, as you know, "forest meat".In the human diet they simply have to be present, because they contain healthy oils, proteins and carbohydrates. How to cook mushrooms, everyone knows, probably: pass them in butter with vegetables.

It's always interesting to eat seasonally, because every season is full of its own products. And, perhaps, its biggest advantage is that it does not have time to get bored - after all, we have not eaten these products for a year! And plus to this, as mentioned above, every vegetable and fruit that has matured naturally, in the season for this purpose, contains much more vitamins and trace elements.
