Various soups have long and firmly entered the diet of any Russian person. During the Soviet era, the housewives had to diverge in different ways in order to cook three full dishes from one leg and feed a family of four - the products were in short supply, so the broth was cooked from the thigh, which became the basis for the first dish, and the meat itself was added alreadyin the second. And in our days, almost no man thinks of lunch without soup.

Mothers from the very childhood inspired us that the soup is very useful for digestion. We all heard the phrase more than once: "Do not eat dry! Turn the guts get! Soup you better eat! »

But is it really so? Do we really have problems with the digestive tract without a variety of cabbage soup, borsch and other first courses in the daily diet?

Benefits of soups

To begin with, it is worth remembering that there are very few fried ingredients in soups: as a rule, all the ingredients are brewed. So, there are less carcinogens in soups than in other dishes. If you cook soups on lean meat basis, then they, in addition, reduce calorie content, and this is useful not only for slimming, but for everyone who follows their health. Plus, soup is easier to eat, but at a cost it goes cheaper than the second course.

Also, as many know, some soups are very useful for various diseases - for example, chicken broth, because it helps restore the water-salt balance in the body. When problems with the gastrointestinal tract should be introduced into the diet of soups-puree - they are very easily absorbed by the body and do not give a load on the stomach, because it is easier to digest. And compared to the second dishes, soups have obvious advantages: they are easier to saturate, since they take up more space in the stomach, contain more vitamins and fewer calories. For example, everyone familiar borsch has a whole range of useful vegetables: cabbage, beets, carrots, onions.

However, soup can be harmful to humans. For example, fat broths of dark meat have a bad effect on the cardiovascular system, so they are extremely contraindicated for people who have heart problems.

Properly cooked the same, home-made soup can only have a positive effect on health. There are even dozens of special soup diets, which really help to lose weight and do not harm your health.

From all of the above it follows that it is not just possible to introduce soups into your daily diet, but it is necessary. But here it should be remembered that when cooking soup, you should give preference to low-fat meat, poultry or fish. By the way, the fish broth is digested ten times more easily than meat and contains several times more vitamins and trace elements.
