It may also be that the goods, before they get on the counter, were packaged or even manufactured directly in the store. In this case, the information you need is found on the price tag, which is glued to the package.
Secondly, in case of difficulty, you can ask the vendor to find out exactly where the expiration date of the product is displayed. Perhaps the seller will say that the most valid argument of validity is his word. In this case, from the purchase of this particular product, you should definitely abstain. There is a way out - ask that you sell the same, only with the specified expiration date. And perhaps, in general, this shop is bypassed.
Third, you need to decide what you need to look for. Perhaps, the packaging will only indicate the date of manufacture of the goods, and possibly the expiration date of the expiration date. Maybe the third option - there are both dates, in this case it's even easier. Proceed from the later - it will tell you when the expiration date of the product. So, if the package has the inscription "07:04:11", then probably this means that the date of manufacture of the product is November 4 this year, and the time is 7 am. So do not think that you are trying to sell goods, which is more than a year.
The products have the same nuance, in contrast to having a long shelf life of several months or years. If you see cereals, canned food or condiments on the package, only two digits - it means that the month and year of production are marked on it.
In conclusion, we should also note that it is also worth noting the purchase of goods, on the packaging of which it is very difficult to discern information about the expiration date, due to the fact that it is erased, partially or completely. This can be done deliberately, so that you have acquired stale goods. Or maybe just a careless salesman decided to leave it on the counter. In any case, it's better not to take risks.
