How to decorate festive salads in an original way

Fur coat

Required products:

  • salted herring fillet - 500 gr;
  • potatoes - 3 - 5 pieces;
  • beet - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 3 pieces;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pieces;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • cheese - 50 g;
  • mayonnaise;
  • greens.


Boil eggs, potatoes, carrots and beets.

Take a large dish and with the help of mayonnaise, draw a contour of salad in the form of a Santa Claus figure, as shown in the photo. Mayonnaise can be applied by simply cutting off the edge of the package, or tuck it into a confectionery syringe.

Make fir-trees out of friut sprouts.

Now strictly observing the drawn contours we lay out the first layer from the potato, rubbed on an average grater.

The second layer is laid herring, cut into cubes.

The third layer will be onion, but beforehand it must be finely chopped and boiled water to remove the inherent bitterness.

Now it should be smeared with mayonnaise so that the salad does not turn out to be dry.

  • chicken fillet - 200 g;
  • ham - 100 gr;
  • pineapple - 100 gr;

Cooking recipe:

  • Parmesan cheese - 100 gr;

  • chicken eggs - 2 pieces;
  • olive oil - 100 ml;
  • lemon - 1 piece;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • mustard - 0.5 teaspoon.

Cooking recipe:

Chop chicken in small pieces and fry in olive oil until golden brown.

Loaf cut into small cubes. In the remaining olive oil in the pan, squeeze out the garlic and fry it for about a minute. Then this fragrant oil is poured out, and in the same frying pan dry the sliced ​​bread, to the state of ruddy crackers.

Cooking recipe:

Boil eggs, potatoes and carrots first. By the way, eggs are best cooked for no more than 10 minutes, so that the yolk does not acquire a greenish tinge.

To let the salad turn out to be more gentle carrots and potatoes rub on a small grater.

Fish canned fish with a fork until smooth, after draining the oil.

Finely chop the onions, if you feel sharpness and bitterness in it, it is better to pour on it with boiling water.

In accordance with the number of guests invited, take a transparent crockery or three-dimensional glasses on a short leg. In them all layers of the salad will be clearly visible.

When assembling a salad, every new layer is necessarily greased with mayonnaise.
