In the first recipe, we suggest that you prepare an amazing jam of gooseberries with orange without cooking. This dish still carries the name - raw jam. This dessert is noteworthy in that it completely preserves the aroma and taste of fresh fruits. On its preparation, there is no need to take away the whole day - just connect the ingredients, rub them and put them in sterile jars.
Gooseberry with orange mashed with sugar will be stored for a long time, however, for this you should observe the proportions of the ingredients specified in the recipe and store the finished product in a cool place where the air temperature will be maintained at the same level.
Products:
- soft gooseberries - 900 g;
- large ripe orange - 3 pieces;
- sugar - 1,2 kg.
Take note! If in desserts you prefer to use cane sugar, its amount will be somewhat smaller - no more than 900 grams! Otherwise, the jam will turn out to be too sweet, despite the presence of an orange!
How to cook?
- We sort out the berries and discard rotten ones. With the help of a nail scissors or a small sharp knife, we cut the tails and leaves.
- Oranges are milled - free of peel and white films.
Tip! In order to quickly detach the fillets of an orange, you should remove the upper peel from it with a very sharp thin knife, "grabbing" the white subcortical layer along with it. How to cook?
- We clear the fruits of gooseberries from all tails and leaves, wash in large quantities of water.

How to cook?
- Berries are sorted, mine, we clean from pedicels and grind in a blender.
- Orange carefully washing, peel, remove pits and also grind.
- In a saucepan, where jam is brewed, we combine berry and fruit weights.
- Bananas are peeled, cut into small pieces and sent to the rest of the ingredients.
- Add sugar, stir and leave everything at room temperature for 1.5-2 hours. During this time must be allocated juice.
- Turn on the gas supply and bring the contents of the pan to a boil. When the first bubbles appear on the surface, we lower the cloves and the cinnamon stick into the mass. We cook all about 5 minutes.
- From the finished dessert we extract cinnamon and, if possible, cloves, pour it on clean jars and cork for future use.
