Belak F is a one-component lacquer containing fluorine. Its regular use reduces the sensitivity of the teeth.
This preparation also improves the resistance of enamel to the appearance of caries and is used for the remineralization of enamel.

Features of
The Belak F is produced in 2 types:
- white;
- transparent.
White lacquer contains:
- solvent;
- film former;
- potassium fluoride.
Transparent version of the preparation contains:
- film-former of natural origin;
- a fluoride compound of a new generation - an amino fluoride;
- antiseptic;
- solvent.
Produced Belak F in a bottle of dark glass with a volume of 25 ml. Also, the kit may include applicators for application.
Mechanism of action and therapeutic effect
Preventive action of the varnish is based on the penetration of fluoride ions into the crystals of hydroxyapatite enamel. This reduces their
solubility. Fluorine becomes a constituent element of the crystal lattice, thereby reducing the rate of demineralization processes and increasing remineralization.The effect of fluorides lasts longer due to the addition of fluoride ions to calcium ions. The formed substance fills all the pores and microchannels in the enamel where the probability of reducing its resistance is greatest.
In addition, the effect of microorganisms on enamel is reduced. When applying fluorine-containing drugs, they lose their ability to release acids during the processing of sugars.
The result of cariesstatic action of fluorine-based varnishes is a decrease in the intensity of carious processes in 60% of cases.
The increased sensitivity of teeth appears due to the fact that in one or more places on the tooth the enamel is erased. As a result, the dentinal tubules become open, which causes unpleasant sensations.
The action of fluorolac on such teeth is based on their closure with poorly soluble calcium and fluoride compounds. Crystals precipitate in tubules and ensure their hermetic sealing.
When can I apply?
Use of Belak F is recommended for:
- initial caries;
- prevention of dental caries in children and adolescents with low enamel resistance;
- wedge-shaped defects;
- increased sensitivity of teeth;
- traumatic damage to the enamel;
- erosion on the tooth surface;
- increased tooth erosion;
- initial stages of gum recession;
- holding professional oral hygiene.
When can not be applied?
Use of the drug is not recommended in the following cases:
- fluorosis;
- gingival hemorrhage in the area of the tooth being treated;
- individual intolerance of the drug components;
- increased fluoride content in drinking water.
Procedure for using
Stages of application of lacquer:
- cleaning of all tooth surfaces with a brush and paste that does not contain fluorine;
- insulation of the working field with rollers;
- tooth drying by air;
- with the help of an applicator varnish is applied to the tooth surface and evenly distributed;
- , after all manipulations of the doctor, the patient should sit with his mouth open for 4-5 minutes, until the drug dries completely;
- then all the videos are removed and recommendations are given.
The patient should not brush his teeth and take solid food for 12 hours after applying the medication. The water should be abandoned for 2 hours.
With the preventive purpose Belak F is recommended to be used 2-3 times a year. In the treatment of caries, application of fluoroalke is carried out at a certain rate. The patient is administered 3-4 applications every 3 days.
Before use, shake the bottle to restore homogeneity of the material.
The drug is stored in a vial with a tightly closed lid in a cool place. With the passage of time, the product can be exfoliated, but this does not affect its performance.
Hypersensitivity to teeth can cause very severe discomfort. In such a situation, Belak F becomes simply irreplaceable. It removes all the unpleasant sensations after the first use. Undoubtedly, the existing defects of the enamel will not change in appearance, but they will become less troublesome.
The only disadvantage of using lacquer at home is the inconvenience of applying it. To dry the tooth surface completely is not a simple task. Saliva constantly flows and prevents use of the drug. But, if adapted, there should not be any problems with the use.
Frequency of use is better beforehand to talk with the dentist in order to avoid an overdose.
Side effects of
As with any other drug on Belak F, an allergic reaction may develop. In the case of the appearance of the first signs of an allergy, the drug is canceled and the correction of the resulting condition is carried out.
If fluoride can get on mucous membranes, burns may occur. Therefore, an important total isolation of the working field. If the hit still happened, then the medicine is washed off, and healing preparations are applied to the gum.
