Belodez is a material used in dentistry, which, depending on its concentration, performs various tasks: from antiseptic processing of root canals to dissolution of necrotic tissues.
The basis of the drug is a stabilized solution of sodium hypochlorite. This compound is also called the sodium hypochlorous acid salt. The composition of the substance includes up to 95% of the active chlorine. It is a strong oxidant.

Antiseptic liquid and gel
Belodez is a gel solution that is used in dentistry for canal treatment. When used simultaneously with solutions, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is suitable for disinfecting the cavity of the teeth.
The material of the mating, flowing, on the mucous membrane acts sparingly.
The active ingredients of the drug are sodium hypochlorite( 50%), corrosion inhibitors, auxiliary components.
The material is produced in the form of a liquid of different concentration and in containers of different volume:
- 3% - 30, 100 and 250 ml;
- 5.2% - 30, 100 and 250 ml;
- 10% - 30 ml.
Liquid is available in vials. The agent in the form of a gel has a concentration of 3%, weight - 3g. Produced in syringes. 
Both gel and liquid have such properties:
- bactericidal and antiseptic, due to alkaline characteristics of the material;
- hemostatic;
- Cleansing;
- disinfectant( used for designs and products used in dentistry).
Purpose of application
The agent is used for the following purposes:
- rinsing of the upper and lower jawbone cavities;
- dissolution of necrotic tissues, pus, remnants of dead pulp;
- elimination of the surface-lubricated layer that appeared after instrumental processing of the channel;
- improved the attachment of sealing materials to the channel walls;
- extension of infected channels;
- disinfection of dental pins, orthodontic equipment.
Method of application
Liquid Belodez 3% of the concentration is used for antiseptic treatment of the canal: the required amount of the agent is drawn into the syringe and, with a little pressure, irrigates the canal. After the procedure, wash the treated areas with distilled water.
The product is used in conjunction with Endoji fluid No. 2 or Endogel gel to expand the channels by treating them. Manipulation is completed by washing.
When using a liquid with a concentration of 5.2% and 10%, use a cotton turunda, which is impregnated with the product. It is introduced into the channels for 10-30 seconds, after it is washed with distilled water.
Before the tooth filling procedure, its cavity is antiseptically treated with Belodez gel, left for 30 seconds or a minute and rinsed.
To disinfect dental products and structures, they are placed in a solution of 3 or 5.2% concentration, washed and dried.
Special instructions
The main active substance of the substance in concentrations exceeding 1% affects live tissues, affecting the vital cells.
The use of Belodeza can cause destruction of the tooth tissues, therefore, use of concentrated solutions must strictly 
is limited in time( no more than one minute).
If the product has got on the mucous membrane, immediately remove it with a cotton swab, rinse with water, treat the affected area with a dental product based on vitamins.
When storing liquid, a precipitate may form on the bottom of the vial. This does not affect the properties of the material.
