Composition and form of the
The material consists of several components:
- polyoxymethylene;
- Thymol iodide;
- EVENOL;
- dexamethasone acetate;
- hydrocortisone acetate.
The product is available as standard, which includes 15 grams of powder and 15 ml of liquid.
The main properties of
Endophil has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and bactericidal action, therefore the effectiveness of the drug is higher when compared with similar agents.
It is important to understand that when installing a seal, an antiseptic therapeutic effect must be created. Presented paste perfectly
penetrates into hard-to-reach places, filling the space, and also providing a curative effect until the seal is completely hardened.Fabrics that come into contact with the material do not get negative effects. The seal tightly adjoins, even the slightest possibility of its loss is excluded.
The preparation is used exclusively by specialists who perform the root canal filling process in a dental clinic.
Contraindications and limitations when working with
paste Before using the material, the dentist needs to read the contraindications, the main one being the individual intolerance of one of the paste components.
You should also be aware that the paste contains a toxic component of polyoxymethylene, therefore it is strictly forbidden to swallow or inhale Endomyl.
If the paste gets on the mucous surfaces, irritation may occur, if necessary, rinse the affected area with water.
Instructions for Use
First of all, the pulp is devitalized with a special preparation, followed by its complete removal. The specialist should ensure that the root canal is thoroughly cleaned and dried under a warm air stream.
The presence of organic elements in the channel is strictly forbidden, since in the future this will lead to the process of their decay already under the established seal.
Only after the channel has been completely prepared for filling with paste, it is necessary to proceed directly to mixing the powder and liquid.
When mixed, the resulting mass is brought to the desired homogeneous consistency. The paste will be ready for use within one minute after mixing.
Using a special channel, which will match the size of the cavity to be sealed, Endophilus is applied.
When filling the cavity, it is necessary to completely eliminate the unnecessary pressure and the appearance of bubbles, so it is recommended to perform the procedure as slowly as possible. After 2-3 hours, provided the temperature and humidity of the air are favorable, the seal will completely harden.
Side effects of
In general, the use of the paste is safe for the patient's health, but some side effects have been noted, of which mention should be made. During the testing period the following negative reactions were identified, which disappeared after a while:
- Redness of the skin .In contact with the skin, some patients had certain redness on the skin.
- Allergic reactions .They were caused due to personal intolerance of one of the components, in particular, it is about the reddening of the eyes and attacks of dyspnea.
I have been practicing for more than 10 years, but only 2 years since I discovered Endophilus. From the paste in full delight, it is easily bred, if necessary, you can change the consistency, dilute or thicken.
It is easy to work throughout the sealing process, the seal is firmly attached. Endophilus has never failed, no seal has fallen out - in general, no precedents have arisen.
I recommend to colleagues, as the best tool for sealing root canals today.
