Application features

Lining method:

  1. Cleansing of the tooth.
  2. Treatment of the carious cavity according to all the rules of preparation for sealing with light-curing materials.
  3. Insulation. Preference is given to the cofferdam.
  4. Etching of carious cavity by orthophosphoric acid according to the chosen method. The best approach is the method of total etching.
  5. If necessary, an adhesion promoter is applied. It depends on the instructions of the manufacturer of the filling material.
  6. Ionos can be applied in 2 versions. In the first case, they cover only the bottom of the carious cavity, and the material acts as a normal insulating liner.   2. When working with tools made of metal, you need to remember about their cleaning immediately after applying the material, since it is able to adhere to them.
  3. Immediately after use, the syringe is tightly closed with a lid. Like any other light-curing material, the material can harden under the influence of ambient light.
  4. The inhibited layer is not removed, as it is required for bonding the liner to the next seal layers.
  5. When restoring contact points, it is recommended to use matrix systems.

Currently, no systemic effects on the body. Only in isolated cases is it possible to develop both general allergic reactions and local changes when exposed to components.
