Solcoseryl promotes the rapid division and renewal of damaged cells, which accelerates the regeneration of tissues in places of wounds or lesions by infection. It is also a stimulant for the production of collagen, it provides a rapid formation of vessels.

Pasta has analgesic effect due to contained in it polidocanol - local anesthetic. It temporarily blocks the nerve endings, which relieves pain in the place of injury or tissue damage. After 2-5 minutes after application of the drug to the damaged tissues in the oral cavity the pain stops. The effect lasts for 3-5 hours.

Dental paste Solcoseryl is applied with a thin layer without rubbing on the wound. The procedure is carried out 3 to 5 times a day, depending on the severity of wounds or lesions. Treatment is conducted after meals and before bedtime.

When interacting with saliva, the paste is converted into a kind of film that reliably protects the wound for several hours.

The dosage depends on the size of the affected area. Often, to treat the affected area, it is sufficient to apply 5 mm of the drug squeezed out of the tube. The course of treatment can last until the paste is fully used.

Features of application

The drug should be applied to a pre-treated antiseptic wound. For disinfection, Miramistin solution can be used if stomatitis is treated. In all other cases, it is better to use a solution of Chlorhexidine 0.05%.

Affected or damaged areas are treated with gauze or a tampon impregnated with an antiseptic. After this, the wounds are dried using dry tampons, and only then the paste is applied.

If decubitus formed under dentures is treated, the removable teeth should be dried, applied to them in the area of adherence to the gums, moistened with water and inserted into the oral cavity.

It is not recommended to lay the paste in a deep wound that was formed after the extraction of teeth, if it will be stitched.

If the oral cavity has affected areas caused by infection, then they must first be treated with appropriate medications that have antibacterial action.

Only after this, the paste can be applied to the wound. Since its composition does not include antimicrobial components, it does not remove the inflammatory process, if such exists in the wound area.

Better theory only practice

How things stand in fact will help clarify the feedback of consumers who use Solcoseryl pasta.

I was recommended by Solkoseril dental dentist when I came to him with my daughter for a scheduled checkup. My five-year-old baby showed stomatitis.

The doctor advised us and other means, but stressed that the paste is best suited. However, having bought it, I began to doubt whether the drug would be sufficient until it was fully recovered: a very small tube. We had enough of it until the disappearance of the disease, which was already on the fifth day, and still remained in the tuba. Very satisfied with the effect!

I have had problems with oral "sores" since my childhood. But if then they have me covered with greens, and the pain was creepy, then at 26 you will not take advantage of it, as there are seals. On the advice of a dentist I bought a dental adhesive paste Solcoseryl.

I really liked her action: the wounds stopped hurting right away, and after a few days I stopped thinking about the illness. The main thing is that the smell is pleasant and after use is not ashamed with people to talk.

A paste was prescribed to me by a doctor after the removal of a wisdom tooth. There was a large wound, and the gum was severely damaged. True, the seams did not have to be applied. After applying the drug, the pain quickly subsided, which brought relief.

No complications occurred, and the wound quickly healed. Even a tube and a small one, my son still had enough for the treatment of inflamed gums. The result of the treatment is excellent, and the cost of the paste is quite acceptable.
