  • 91 ml of eugenol;
  • 4.5 ml peppermint oil;
  • 4.5 ml of anise oil.

Material properties

When choosing filling material, one of the important criteria is how easy it can be transferred periapical fabrics. Endometasone copes with this perfectly and does not cause any irritation on them. In addition, it perfectly performs filling functions, and when it hardens it does not dissolve and does not shrink over time.

After its introduction, it is provided antiseptic and disinfecting effect for two hours. Possesses a radiopaque property and fills the root canal quite easily. If it accidentally leaves the root apex during work, then, unlike hardening in the canal, on the contrary, it will slowly dissolve in the periapical region.

It is used when it is necessary to fill the root canals of the tooth with or without a pin.

Method of administration and dosage

According to the instructions for use, the composition of Endometasone must be prepared by mixing powder and eugenol, in such an amount that the consistency is similar to petroleum jelly. To improve the result, add 1 part of the liquid composition to 5 parts of the powder and mix for 30 seconds.

The manufacturer recommends using a powder dose of 0.100 to 0.150 g for one channel.

Application conditions:

  • using cotton rolls or rubber dam to isolate the tooth;
  • thoroughly treat the canal, then disinfect with an antiseptic solution, rinse and dry with paper points;
  • fill the canal with paste, and if necessary, insert a pre-prepared post.

Filling processEndomethasone Material

After paste will be ready you need to insert it into the root canal using a canal filler or an acrylic, silver, gutta-percha pin.

If you follow all the norms and recommendations, with the help of Endometasone, you can hermetically close the root canals, since it has excellent adhesion to bone surfaces. It is also characterized by low shrinkage, and due to corticosteroids, the patient will not feel pain, not only during the filling process itself, but also for some time after the end.

Warnings and notes

Many people have an allergic reaction after filling the canals with certain pastes. Endometasone includes parafolmadegite, which also entails such consequences. In addition, it belongs to the neurotoxin substances.

You need to be very careful when working with it. If by chance happens root perforation and the material will go beyond the apex, this may negatively affect the patient's health, so rinse the mouth with water immediately.

It is important to carefully monitor that the particles of the paste do not get on the oral mucosa in any way, Airways, esophagus and skin.

Formaldehyde compounds that are part of dental cement, even in small quantities, can cause enormous harm. Before applying the Endometasone paste, the root canal is thoroughly processed, prepared and expanded for easy application of the material. This will reduce the risk of it getting into the space behind the root apex.

Recommendations

When working with the material, you must adhere to the following rules:

  1. To protect your hands, you must wear medical gloves before preparing the paste.
  2. Using a rubber dam will help protect your mouth and prevent fluid from entering during tooth treatment.Endomethasone
  3. If Endometasone is stored in a cool place, then one hour before use it must be left at room temperature for it to acquire its properties.
  4. It is imperative to remove the paste left on the teeth.
  5. After the procedure, you must always ensure that the lid of the preparation is tightly closed, otherwise its properties may change. When a substance interacts with air, a chemical reaction will occur and it will lose its qualities.
  6. It is strictly forbidden to use expired material.

Storage rules and cost

It is important that the place where the material will constantly be located is dry and cool (no more than +25 C and not less than +10 C). It should not be exposed to rays from the sun, lamps or other heat sources.

The price of Endometasone depends on the region of the country, on average it varies from 1800 to 2615 rubles.

Patient opinion

Patient reviews about the Endometasone filling procedure are generally positive, here is one of them:

Recently received treatment at a dental clinic. Since my teeth are not very good by nature, I have to visit these establishments regularly. Due to the fact that almost all of them lack nerves, each time they have to endure the procedure of filling the canals. Dentists use different materials. This time, the filling process was performed using Endometasone. I can't say anything about the first sensations, they were absent, I did not feel pain during the filling at all, just like after the completion of the work. After a week, I can say that no side effects were found, no allergic reaction or irritation was observed.
