Features and benefits of Ivoclar teeth
Artificial teeth Ivoclar are manufactured in technical laboratories and meet all quality standards. The dentures are quite durable and do not react to artificial solvents. The patient is not exposed to restrictions on food intake.
Ivoclar prostheses have good consumer characteristics, are durable and visually match with natural teeth. Manufacturing using the technology ensures that the prostheses match the mucous membranes and the relief of the patient's own teeth.
Metal-ceramic crown Ivoclar is made from the patented IPS metal-ceramic, IPS Style (contains oxyapatite crystals), IPS d. SIGH, IPS InLine, IPS Classic. The high-strength IPS e.max all-ceramic is also available.
The company manufactures the following types of plastic teeth:
- SR-Vivadent-PE SR-Orthotyp-PE;
- SR-Vivadent-DCL SR-Postaris-DCL SR-Orthotyp-DCL;
- SR-Vivadent SR-Orthotyp, Ivocryl.
Advantages of Ivoclar prostheses:
- good indicators of biocompatibility with soft tissues;
- lack of allergic reactions and irritation;
- aesthetic compliance;
- low shrinkage;
- low level of such an effect as raising the bite;
- high performance characteristics - strength, resistance to abrasion and chewing loads;
- ease of wearing;
- no deposition plaque due to the content of special components in the structure of the structure.
Manufacturing and installation
In the process of manufacturing Ivoclar prostheses, a special Ivocap System technology is used. It is a plastic injection molding technique. The hot curing technique produces a prosthetic restoration with an optimal level of transparency and clinical performance.
Making a complete removable denture takes an average of 10 to 6 weeks. It all depends on the complexity of the design and the number of teeth to be restored. As a rule, partial dentures are produced in less time.
The manufacture and installation of the orthopedic structure is as follows:
- Examination of the patient's oral cavity and selection of the appropriate prosthetics option.
- When installing partial denture preparation is carried out, an impression is taken with further determination of the boundaries of the removable structure.
- In case of complete absence of teeth, intraoral registration is carried out lower jaw movements. Used intraoral gnatometer Ivoclar.
- After the print is sent to dental laboratory. The degree of transparency, shade and shape are selected.
- After the prostheses are ready, a fitting is carried out, if necessary, the design is corrected.
- If the design fits, then it is installed.
- Articulation and occlusion are checked.
In the dental laboratory, modeling and packing, pressing are carried out. Staining is carried out in 3 stages - processing-dye firing-glaze firing, layering technique and glaze. Not only the color of a living tooth is determined, but also of the stump.
The choice of shade is carried out in daylight or a certain intensity of artificial light. The Chromascop look-up table is used for this. It is the general standard for Ivoclar Vivadent. The color scheme consists of five removable groups containing four shades each. There are 20 colors in the table.

Note! For more convenient work with composite materials, the innovative Optra Sculpt Ivoclar modeling tool is used.
How to brush your teeth with Ivoclar?
Removable denture cleaning Ivoclar occurs by analogy with the designs of other companies. It takes place in several stages:
- Soak. The removable structure is placed in a container with warm water, a special remedy (pill) for cleaning artificial teeth. At this stage, deep dirt is eliminated, which the brush does not always manage to cope with.
- Mechanical cleaning. Use a soft bristled brush and mortar to clean the structure. Do not use regular toothpastes, which can scratch the surface of your dentures. In the future, this can lead to the multiplication of bacteria.
- Rinsing. Rinse the structure under running water, thoroughly rinsing out the solution.
Sintered structures require professional care. The manufacturer suggests using a protective varnish. The product contains components that protect the surface and inhibit the growth of bacteria.

What do they say about dentures?
There are very few reviews of Ivoclar Vivadent products on the Internet from ordinary people. They are mainly posted on commercial sites that sell products. Comments from experts are mostly neutral or positive.
We have been working with Ivoclar for about 5 years. During this time, the products have shown themselves well. I would like to note the good performance characteristics of structures and indicators of biocompatibility, aesthetic compliance. I will not say that it does not shrink at all, but in comparison with others it is minimal. In my practice, there were no complaints from patients, in any case, I never listened. The only point is the higher price of the product (especially cermets) in comparison with domestic materials.
