Diseases of a person often impose restrictions on his social and creative abilities, reducing self-esteem, and treatment becomes the main occupation in the patient's life. Formations on the skin, which bring a lot of inconvenience to communication, are especially unpleasant for humans.
One of these diseases is the papilloma virus, which manifests itself as growths (warts) on open areas of the skin, on mucous membranes, including on the lips. Moreover, the appearance warts on the lips occurs under the influence of various factors.
Causes of the appearance of warts on the lips
The virus (HPV) is found in the human body long before its external manifestation - a growth on the skin. The main reason that makes the virus active is a sharp decrease in the body's protective functions (immunity).
This can happen due to the following circumstances:
- smoking and frequent alcohol consumption is a common cause of decreased immunity;
- stressful life situations that arise at work, in the family;
- losing weight - also greatly weakens the body;
- frequent hypothermia of the body contributes to the acquisition of colds and, as a result, a decrease in immunity;
- improper nutrition does not provide the body with all vital vitamins, trace elements and minerals;
- long-term use of drugs, antibiotics leads to the disappearance of the beneficial intestinal microflora, reducing the body's resistance to viruses and infections.
Compliance with the basic rules of a healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk and frequency of papillomas (warts) in the most unexpected places and at the wrong time.

Types of papillomas
Papillomas are skin lesions that result from the division of epithelial cells. This process is activated by human papillomavirus infection.
In most cases, warts do not bring much discomfort, are painless, but there are exceptions:
- the formed build-up is located in places of frequent friction;
- papilloma on the face and lip causes enormous psychological stress and inconvenience, especially in women.
In medicine, there are several types of warts:
- Simple papillomas are the most common type, the transmission of which is carried out sexually or in the process of everyday communication. Such papillomas, they are also called vulgar warts, are mainly located on the palms and fingers, face, and they can also found on the feet, that is, in those places where there are damaged areas of the skin (cuts) or frequent contact with household chemistry. There are frequent cases of the appearance of this type of papillomas in people with increased sweating.
- Filiform - this is the name of the formations in which the growth (body) is located on a thin leg. The location of filamentous papillomas is the armpits, the skin on the neck and chest (areas of the human body with thin skin).
- Flat warts get their name from their shape. Their structure is quite dense, and the root is located deep under the skin, which makes it painful when pressed or damaged.
- Genital warts differ from other species by their location and appearance (nipple-shaped). Basically, these are places in the groin area, as well as on the mucous membranes.
- Plantar - a type of warts that appears in children and adults on the soles of the feet, due to injuries, wearing tight shoes, as well as non-observance of basic rules of personal hygiene.
On the lip, a simple type of papilloma often appears, which looks like a rounded growth on the outer or inner side of the oral mucosa.

How to get rid of papillomas on the lip?
One of the unpleasant forms of HPV manifestation is papillomas on the lips - they are visible to others, can interfere with food intake, and are often injured. In addition to the moral inconvenience, there is also the risk of bacteria entering the affected area, thereby complicating the treatment process.
In medicine, there are hardware, medicinal and folk methods for removing warts.
Hardware and medicinal methods for removing papillomas:
- Electrocoagulation - consists in removing the wart using a special device that cauterizes small capillaries, which eliminates the appearance of bleeding. The process proceeds with the use of local anesthesia, so there are no painful sensations.
- Laser removale - a more modern way to get rid of warts. It is characterized by the speed of the process, as well as the ability to remove only the affected areas, while maintaining intact tissues.
- Cryodestruction - removal by means of liquid nitrogen due to deep penetration of cold into infected tissues with their subsequent destruction.
- Chemical method - this method is considered the simplest of the methods for removing growths, since the process uses caustic substances - celandine juice, acids, etc., which can be bought at a pharmacy. If used incorrectly, it can cause serious consequences such as burns.
- Surgical method - today, thanks to the development of technology, it is no longer advanced, and the possible consequences of such an intervention push it to the last line in the list of available methods.
Folk remedies are an alternative treatment option that allows a person to independently remove warts at home.
The most popular ways to remove papillomas according to folk recipes:
- Treatment with celandine consists in burning the place where the wart has formed with concentrated plant juice. The advantages of such removal include safety along with a fairly good effect. The disadvantage is a burning sensation of the skin at the site of cauterization.
- An equally popular folk remedy is the use of apple cider vinegar. It is important to lubricate the skin around the growth with a cream before starting treatment, and then drop it onto the wart from a pipette, and then glue the treated area with a plaster. The positive effect is achieved after three applications of such compresses.
- Hydrogen peroxide is another method of getting rid of papillomas. It is used in the same way as in the previous recipe. The disadvantages include the duration of treatment (several days).
- Garlic can help - you need to take a wedge cut in half and rub the juice into the affected area.
The main thing is not to confuse papillomas with moles. Otherwise, health problems may arise.
