Review of Koroey implants Inno (Inno implant)

InnoImplantation in dentistry, it is the installation of an artificial tooth in place of the missing one. An implant is implanted as an artificial root, then an attachment for the crown - an abutment - is installed into it. Finally, the crown is screwed onto the abutment.

This prosthetics technology allows you to install the entire structure without grinding the adjacent teeth. One or several required teeth can be implanted. Even if absent whole dentition, thanks to implantation, it can be restored to full-fledged, functional and beautiful.

Prosthetics on implants Is a surgical procedure, the result of which depends not only on the professionalism of the doctor, but also on the quality of the implantation system.

Implant developer and manufacturer

Dental implantation is an expensive premium procedure. To compete with the largest and oldest manufacturers in this field, CowellMedi Co., LTD (South Korea), founded in 1993, introduced to the market of dental surgery products, the cost of which was reduced not due to a decrease in quality, but thanks to innovative technology production.

CowellMedi's Inno implant systems quickly gained popularity, first in Asia and then around the world. The company also produces dental instruments and equipment, creates biorelevant transplant materials. The quality of all CowellMedi products is confirmed by international certificates (ISO).

Inno implants are the combined experience of the world's best manufacturers dental constructions plus the latest research in medicine. Thus, the implants have technical parameters that meet all the modern requirements of dental surgery.

Implant characteristics:

  • made of medical grade titanium;
  • have a conical-cylindrical shape;
  • equipped with double thread;
  • have a super-hydrophilic porous coating;
  • the connection of the implant with the abutment is made in the form of a Morse cone.

Inno implant technology

Implants are designed taking into account all biological and physiological processes in the human body.

Material

Inno implants are made from pure medical titanium - a metal that does not cause allergies, rejection and inflammatory processes in tissues. The strength of this metal allows the product to withstand high loads without collapsing or deforming. Titanium does not corrode and is biocompatible with human bone tissue.

The formInno

Inno implants have a hybrid conical-cylindrical shape with a reduced cervical diameter. In the root part, the shape of the product is conical - this minimizes the trauma of installing the implant into the bone. The remaining two-thirds of the implant has a cylindrical shape, which ensures reliable stability of the structure. This shape allows you to optimally distribute the load on the future tooth, provides uniform pressure on the jawbone and overall stability of the structure.

Thread

The double thread on the Inno implant (Buttress thread and "Spiral lock") allows it to be installed in any surgical situation: and immediately after removal of the root (into the formed hole), and into the jaw bone of low density, and after the bone procedure plastics. The thread size, which is wider and deeper at the top, tapers closer to the neck of the product. Four helical cutting edges provide firm primary stabilization of the implant. Thus, the combination of two types of threads guarantees fast and strong contact of the implant with the bone during installation and for the entire service life.

Coating

The porous coating of the implants is achieved by treating the surface of the product with calcium hydroxyapatite. After such treatment (as opposed to, for example, treatment with quartz, titanium oxide or aluminum), the surface remains clean, without residual toxic impurities. The surface of the implant is homogeneous, since the craters from sandblasting are the same, rough (1.75-1.95 µm) and has a high degree of wettability. The tissue regeneration around the implants, due to this structure of their surface, occurs quickly.

Abutment connection

The connection with the Morse cone abutment is a hexagonal anti-relaxation connection that eliminates gaps and micro-gaps between the parts of the implantation system. Microslits allow the penetration of gingival and oral fluid into the implant, accumulation and multiplication of bacteria, tissue inflammation and bone loss around the prosthesis. The Morse taper in Inno implants has an angle (11 degrees) and a connection length that prevents micro-gaps and micro-movements of system parts. This conical connection allows the placement of abutments of other implant systems in this progressive form on the Inno implant.

The characteristics of Inno implants ensure their rapid survival, reliability and durability.

Varieties of dental constructions

CowellMedi manufactures implant systems with implants of various lengths (L) and diameters (D), so that there is an optimal solution for any surgical case.

Implants without an implant driver, mm:Inno implants

  • D 3.5 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 4.0 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 4.5 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 5.0 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 6.0 (L 7/8/10/12).

Implants with an implant driver (used in the lateral areas of the jaw or areas where access is limited), mm:

  • D 3.5 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 4.0 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 4.5 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 5.0 (L 8/10/12/14);
  • D 6.0 (L 7/8/10/12).

Short implants L 4 (D 5 /5.5 / 6) are used for bone deficiency.

Implant installation procedure

The preparatory stage includes examination of the patient, computed tomography of the jaw, detection and elimination of caries and tartar (sanitation of the oral cavity).

If there is not enough bone tissue to insert the implant, bone grafting (osteoplasty) is performed. The lack of bone tissue is replenished surgically: either by replanting your own bone patient material removed from the mandibular bone, or by the introduction of an artificial biorelevant filler. The surgeon makes a decision on the need for bone grafting based on the examination performed, computed tomography data and the individual characteristics of the patient's jaw structure.

The implantation procedure takes place with local anesthesia. After anesthesia and complete disinfection of the oral cavity, the surgeon excises the gum and drills the bone tissue with special cutters to the desired depth, forming a bone bed for the implant. To prevent adjacent tissues from growing into the implant, a plug is placed on it, and the gum is sutured. This stage lasts at least an hour, after which the patient receives recommendations for further proper oral care.

The duration of tissue healing and osseointegration of the implant will depend on many factors: individual biological characteristics of the patient, the method of installing the post, its location and, of course, product quality. Healing therefore lasts from two to six months.

After complete engraftment of the implant, the plug is removed from it, the abutment and, if necessary, the healing abutment are installed. This is also a surgical operation, but this procedure is less painful for the patient.

After one to two weeks, when the soft tissues heal and the contour of the gums is formed, the stage of prosthetics begins: the orthopedist makes an impression with an implant to make a crown.

The steps for installing dental structures described above may vary. For example, when installing an implant into a socket of an extracted tooth (the so-called instant or express implantation), if there is enough bone tissue and other positive indications, Inno implantation can be performed without bone grafting and without bone preparation bed. In cases where, after the extraction of the tooth, the hole remains even and formed, if there is no swelling of the soft tissues and there are no other contraindications for immediate implantation, then there is no necessity.

Dental implant careInno implant

For the period of implant engraftment, the patient is advised to refrain from eating hot food and drinks, sanitize the oral cavity with special rinses and use a soft tooth brush.

After Inno's implants have taken root, caring for the artificial structure does not differ from caring for natural teeth.

Implant cost

Average price for Korean implants Inno in Russia - 17,000 rubles. Such a relatively low price with high product characteristics provides Inno's implants wide popularity and prevalence. Inno implants have established themselves as reliable, demanded and high-quality dental constructions that can solve a variety of patient problems.
