  • a couple of tablespoons of berries;
  • a couple of tablespoons of cranberry leaves;
  • 800 ml of water;
  • sugar to taste.

Pour the ingredients with water and bring everything to the boil. Cook for ten minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool.

  • one glass of each berry;
  • 1 table.spoon of mint;
  • 4-5 tables.spoons of sugar;
  • 2 liters of water.

Carefully we sort and rinse the fruits, add them to the bowl of the blender and interrupt them in mashed potatoes. You can also use a meat grinder. If the mass is too thick, you can add a little water.

We put the dried mint into a saucepan and fill it with water. Bring to a boil, cook for about 3 minutes and add sugar. We pour the berry puree to mint syrup and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from the fire, let it cool down.

  1. If you are brewing compote without rolling it afterwards into cans, it will not be stored for very long. Drink it throughout the day, and leave the remaining portion into the refrigerator, but no more than for two days.
  2. If you decided to knead the fruit with a spoon or tolik before cooking, then remember that in this case the compote should be filtered through gauze to remove the thick flesh. It is better to leave the fruits whole - so the drink will be transparent, and the cranberries can be eaten just like that.
  3. In the compote of cranberries allowed to add absolutely any berries and fruits. It can be ashberry, dog rose, sea buckthorn, pear, peach, dried apricots, raisins, etc. And to get a pleasant spicy taste two minutes before the cook, throw a couple of buds of cloves, a cinnamon stick or a little cardamom into the pan.
