The popularity of arnica can tell numerous names and comparisons by which people honored this flower. Classical naming in Latin - Arnica montana, it points to a favorite habitat - the mountains. The alchemists called it the symbol of the sun, which is explained by the bright yellow-orange color of the petals. It is believed that the ancient Greek healer Dioscariad noted the specific properties of this plant and called it "ptarmika", which means "causing sneezing".Later part of the word "leveled", and it began to exist in a form known to us - arnica. In the Russian language also preserved the original folk names arnica - lamb grass, mountain sheepskin, Ivanov color.
However, now in the wild nature large yellow flowers of arnica mountain can be met very rarely - the plant is included in the Red Book. They try to breed it "in captivity", but in the cultural environment arnica, in natural conditions perennial, grows no more than two or three years. Important: It should be remembered that the concentration of essential oils can be toxic and cause allergic manifestations, burning, dermatitis with the appearance of vesicles, so immediately before use, tincture is best diluted with water( 1: 1).

- crushed roots insist on 70% alcohol in a 1: 5 ratio also in a dark place for two weeks.

To prepare tincture of arnica for hair, take 10 g of flowers and 100 ml of alcohol, mix and soak for eight days, then strain and dilute with water in a ratio of 1: 4 for use. - to reduce the greasiness of hair, you can prepare a mask of mustard and clay: mix thoroughly 1 teaspoon mustard powder with 2 tablespoons cosmetic clay( preferably blue), add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon tincture arnica;Apply the resulting mixture to the roots of the hair for 20 minutes, then rinse well with shampoo;
