Botanical Description
Plant 30-60 cm high. The stalk is covered with soft hairs, shaggy and sticky. The leaves are dirty-green, ovate or elongate-ovate, with coarsely carved teeth, the lower ones tapering into the petiole, the upper half being stalks. Dirty yellow flowers almost sit on the stalk. A flower with a bell-shaped cup, with a dense network of veins on the petals. Blossoms from June to October. It occurs in orchards and in wastelands. Belen is closely related to the belladonna and dope. All three plants are very toxic, so non-specialists should deal as little as possible with bleach or with its preparations. Unlike the belladonna, whose berries are often poisoned by children, bleach poisoning is rare, as the whole plant looks unappetizing and stupefying. The picture of poisoning resembles that narcotic effect that belladonna causes. First aid for poisoning is the same.
Active ingredients
Hyosdiamine, scopolamine and concomitant alkaloids.
Therapeutic effect and application of
The administration of drugs from bleached is not common: the content of active substances fluctuates too much in the raw material. And the collection time less affects the differences in the quality of raw materials, rather than the place of collection( composition of soil and air). However, there is still a need for bleach preparations. With their help they relieve spasms of the stomach and intestines, reduce senility and anxiety. In addition, a bleaching agent is prepared from bleach, an oil that has been successfully used by many physicians for severe pain.
Homeopathy use
Homeopathic remedy Hyoscyamus is made from whole fresh flowering plants, the initial tincture of which is taken in dilutions of D1 and D1 with dry cough, sometimes in dilutions of D4 and D6 during excitation, convulsions, fever, insomnia and diarrhea.
Application in folk medicine
Very much decreased due to the venom of bleach preparations. True, her fatty oil is still used for rheumatic pains. It is obtained by various methods. I do not, of course, quote the recipe, so as not to induce people to use the poisonous plant independently.
