The most common types of meat consumed in Africa are lamb, chicken, turtle meat. However, here you can try and dishes prepared from the meat of a crocodile, a hippopotamus, an ostrich and even a porcupine.
No less often, various insects and larvae are used for food, which are so rich in the continent. Some insects eat raw, others fry or bake. But the locust serves as a raw material for making flour.
