Today I want to touch upon a very philosophical and sensitive topic for each of us.
Once we come to this world, it means - it is for something it is necessary.
With the problem of the meaning of life, sooner or later, almost every person faces.
For someone, the question " What am I living for ?" Comes up in adolescence, for someone - already at the end of existence.
It may take years, if not a lifetime, to find the answer.
At the same time, at different stages of its response, the answer can be different.
Why do I live or why do I live: why do we ask ourselves this question?
Very little kids are not at all puzzled by the meaning of life.
The level of development of their intellectual and emotional sphere does not allow them to raise such a question.
Find the answer begin adolescents. This may be due to the fact that:
- a teenager has accumulated enough experience to try to determine his own place in the world;
- he starts to think about his future;
- the child gets the strongest of human feelings - love, which, nevertheless, can bring with it frustration, and as a consequence, depression and even unwillingness to live.
the question " Why do I live ?" is transformed into the question "Should I live at all?".
The transition age rarely passes completely painless for the child.
Being in a situation of conflict with the adults and peers around him, the teenager deepens in studying himself, his goals, his destiny, his prospects.
An adult can ask himself the question "Why should I live?" At the time of a collision with some kind of global upheaval or a life failure.
Perhaps the interest in this problem may be due to low self-esteem or self-doubt and self-reliance.
What do I live for?
When I was 16 years old, I decided that my mission was to work with orphaned children.
Aspiring to at least slightly help their wounded souls, I hoped to change this world for the better.
I defined this "high" purpose, in all probability, against the background of my youthful maximalism.
Now I do not want to save the whole world anymore.
I realized that it's better to build a small cozy world, in the center of which will be the beloved husband and cat.
The meaning of life was defined as the desire to save them from grief, to enable them to realize their dreams and simply enjoy the charms of life, such as a favorite thing, good toys, travel.
But there is not much else you can think of? !
Why do I live?
Then, for my family to live well.
Because if there's no me, they probably will not have much good.
Probably, my goal is primitive and too banal. ..
How to find the meaning of life?
But. .. I do not want to get a Nobel Prize, win Eurovision or build a shelter for stray cats.
But I live and work in order to be able to invest in my future children to the maximum in the hope that they will do something important and good.
And they will be happy.
Why I live: two more opinions
For the sake of interest, I asked to answer this question from my colleagues.
Two answers deserve to be mentioned here.
First, the head of our company said that he had never asked such a question, because he never had free time to pick this problem.
He said with a great deal of confidence that the question: "Why am I living?" Is asked by people who simply have nothing to do.
And one young man suggested that he lives to transfer experience to the next generation.
Ie each person is a carrier of a part of the big "space" information which it is necessary to transfer with a kind of relay race in order to save life in general.

and in this find the true meaning of their lives:
I think that asking myself the question " What do I live for? "still makes sense.
It is possible that in the process of searching for an answer, not only your own goals, priorities and relationships with others will be analyzed, but all life as a whole.
