In our time, quite often you can hear diametrically opposite opinions: both about the absolute benefits of juices, and about the fact that their use can in one way or another negatively affect the state of health. In fact, the situation is indeed ambiguous.
For example, if you are talking about the use of packaged juices from a store, and not cooked yourself, then you need to be cautious with them because of the high sugar content. In no case should we forget that each of the existing types of juices has its positive and negative qualities.
Important criteria that should be considered when consuming juices
It is extremely necessary to approach carrots and garnet juices. In comparison with other varieties, they can have( in the case of some chronic diseases) the most negative impact. For example, the use of carrot juice is highly undesirable for people who have problems with the functioning of the liver. In addition, that the vitamins and trace elements in it are fully absorbed by the body, it is necessary to add a few drops of olive oil or cream to it.
When using pomegranate juice, it is important to take into account the fact that it negatively affects both the condition of the teeth and the walls of the small intestine. To minimize the negative impact on the teeth, use this juice through a tube.
Can I give juice to children?
Almost all parents are sure that the use of juices is extremely important for the full development of children. In fact, when you introduce this product into the diet, you need to remember a number of the most important rules:
- in no case should you give freshly squeezed juice to a child who is not yet 3 years old, as it negatively affects the gastric mucosa( in extreme cases, it must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 1);
- berry and fruit juices are less useful than vegetable, because of the significant content of calories;
- for children in no case need to make mixes( if there is no allergic reaction for each juice separately, this does not mean that such a "cocktail" can not provoke it).
If the child refuses to drink too sour juice( for example, apple juice), you can add to it either a little sugar or a few drops of that juice, which is very sweet taste. True, at first it is worth giving an insignificant amount of this mix.
